"OUR" Farewell FunctioN

"These lines are dedicated to the 'each' inmate of 2nd 'A' of S.B.P.U.college-2010/11.

...Some times WE dont know how to start, but WE can't reach our destination without a start. So alwyz we must stick to the ideas and just start with them. Then the destiny itself will take us to the peak of success.

First they had a plan of giving farewell to all batches of 2nd PU together. But as it was denied by princy, they pland 2 do it in a hotel, but for us it didn't seems to be good to do farewell without OUR sirs and madams. So we finally come up with an idea of arranging farewell function in our OWN class.

WE had lot n lot of problems in that regard. But still WE STARTed in that direction with a strong commitment.
At first WE wrote a request letter and get everyone signed to it and sent it to princy with some of OUR classmates to convey him. After pleasing for a long time and getting a lot of regulations WE got the permission!! Its a big achivement for US to get permission from such a "*some text missing*" princy. WE became very happy at that moment and accelerated to prepare for conducting farewell function in a well and deciplined manner.

WE all decided to give Rs.100 to arrange the programme in a beautiful manner. WE planned to bring ice-creams,chats,cakes etc,. WE also planned to have some funny spot games as that will be our last day of getting together. WE had permission to do the function till evening from after-noon. Everyone worked hard as we had a very little time to make all arrangements. On Tuesday evening, WE gave order and advance to 3-4 shops and bakeryes. We wish that everything will go by our way silently and calmly in a smooth manner.


BUT, we are wrong the situations gets aganist us. The next day(02/02) during the 1st hour, princy called OUR class-rep. and told him to cancel the farewell, with lots n lots of scowldings. We are shoked because We already paid nearly Rs.2000 as advance to shops as princy had given the permission earlier. We are completely lost n ran to princy chamber during 2nd hour class. He started scowlding us badly. We conveyd him that we already given the advance and most importantly WE already invited all OUR lecturers to the function in our class. But princy is not even ready to listen to our words. Finally, we pleased him to give just 2 hours, atleast to serve the food and he granted only 1 hour. He reduced it to just 30 minutes when we met him again in the after noon. So, finally WE are left with just 30min. to do our Beautiful N Meaningful farewell. Each and every lecturer of the college supported us including the non-teaching staff and EXcluding the "*some text missing*"princy...!! But unfortunately they became helpless as princy ordered that NO lecturer should attend the programme.


THE FINAL STAND:- ...finally WE stood with unity to have OUR fare farewell party.



Our class room was opened at 2pm and it took us 15 min. to arrange the class. At 2.20pm two of OUR classmates comeup with cake. It was cut by meghalyan frnds of our class and WE share it with 3 of OUR lecturers who are kind enough to attend OUR farewell. WE are very very and very HAPPY that both the acadamic advisors of us, who guided us from the begining of our college life are with us on the last day and blessed us by giving a hearty farewell by their kind presence. EVERYONE is happy enjoyed the moment to the fullest..


..BUT suddenly the "*some text missing*"princy came scowlding us to vacate the class and it was just 2.30pm.


The food is still not served and we removed the arrangements in the class in a single minute. Fortunately, by the blessings of all kind hearts of our college, the canteen brotheres gave the place for us to continue inside the canteen. WE shared all d joys and sorrows with the chats, icecreams etc., WE had a lot of FuN there and WE spend the last moment of OUR last day of college together with GREAT happyness and a unexplainable sorrow of leaving each other...

But, now WE realise that the destiny itself brought all those difficulties in our way and make us to strrugle, just to bring out the tremendous potential inside US. and to show our unity to this world.

We must be ready to face the pain to get the things which are 'precious' to us.. Because, Those things won't feel presious if we get them without PAIN n EFFORT.. If we have true love towards our 'precious thing/DREAM' then, there is NO such thing in life, which feels more Sweeter then that Pain which we face during our Efforts..
